Corrosion and Scale Basics
This course will cover the corrosion process ,types of corrosion, factors affecting and control of corrosion, as well as regulatory issues relating to corrosion for ground water, surface water, and wastewater systems. Hydrogen sulfide in collection systems and distribution systems (formation, impact, and chemical control treatments). Scale in pumps and pipes. Factors affecting scale formation, control and removal methods.
